† Keybladers †



Keybladers are known as warriors of the Realm of Light; though there are many that have either turned to Darkness or actually originated from Darkness, but the credos is fighting for Light. Keybladers usually start in the Land of Departure. In this way, they are intended to be raised and trained in the ways of using the Keyblade, and take their Mark of Mastery test when they are ready. They are the ones chosen by the Keyblade; a weapon of light used to fight the darkness. It has been shown that there are many designs of Keyblade they can use, by the act of using keychains.

♥ Heartless ♥




The Heartless are beings of darkness that manifest in two forms, "Pureblood" and "Emblem", the second being created artificially. While most Heartless are in fact manifested hearts, they behave entirely devoid of emotion, and thus were named "Heartless".

A Heartless is made when one dies, and the innate darkness of their heart comes out. It consumes them, and produces a being of pure darkness, void of emotion; thus called "Heartless". The Heartless were Maleficent's main army during her reign, as she somehow gained the power to control them.

‡ Nobodies ‡




Nobodies are fewer in number than Heartless, for Nobodies are a rare case. When someone of strong will becomes a Heartless, the shell that their heart and soul leaves behind still functions, becoming what's known as a Nobody. They are almost complete opposites of Heartless. Whereas the Nobodies are intelligent beings, Heartless are driven by pure instinct. The more will a person has, the more humanoid they become as a Nobody; whereas the stronger the heart, the more deformed Heartless become. However, a trait that Nobodies share with Heartless is having no heart, and therefore becoming emotionless, though many like to think they do.
